Q: Can my children and I attend school at the same time?

A: Yes, there is no limit on the number within your family who can attend Free College, However, individual students may not use the Free College Benefit at more than one school concurrently.

Q: Do I need to have taken certain classes to attend Franklin University?

A: Yes, students must have 60 credit hours or an associate degree, including a college-level math and English course with a research paper component as a prerequisite.

Q: Do I need to have a certain grade point average to be able to transfer to Franklin University?

A: Yes, prospective students MUST have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0.

Q: How do I get credits transferred from another school?

A: An evaluation of a potential student's transcript(s) by Franklin University will determine the courses that are acceptable for transfer equivalencies.

Q: Is there a minimum number of credit hours I can take a trimester?

A: Yes, students must enroll for at least 6 credits per trimester.
